Al Zorah Golf Club Celebrates Success of Race to Laguna Phuket National Final Qualifiers

Al Zorah Golf Club recently concluded the Race to Laguna Phuket event, a competition that showcased exceptional golfing talent. The event, held on May 10, 2024, was sponsored by a lineup of companies including Unique Properties, AARO Middle East, GAT Consulting, Papa Johns, Modern Freight Company (Logistics Partner), The Reformery Aesthetic Clinic, Athletic Drive, MYGOLF DUBAI, eGolf Megastore, WeTel TV/Golf/Sustainability/Digital Economy (Media Partner), COSENTUS, Banyan Group/Kara Wang, and Landhouse Properties.

Golfers competed across five divisions based on their Index, with each division producing outstanding winners who will represent Al Zorah in the National Final at Laguna Phuket.

Divisional Winners:

  • Div 1 (0-5 hcp): Patrick Armstrong – Nett 75
  • Div 2 (6-10 hcp): Caleb Parkinson – Nett 67 (Winner) and Gerhardus Bosua – Nett 68 (Runner-up)
  • Div 3 (11-15 hcp): Jason Coyle – Nett 71 (Winner) and Christoph Essmeyer – Nett 74 (Runner-up)
  • Div 4 (16-20 hcp): Stanley Sudhakaran – Nett 69 (Winner) and Rajesh Gaur – Nett 71 (Runner-up)
  • Div 5 (21-25 hcp): Billy Newley – Nett 66 (Winner) and Greer Maclean – Nett 69 (Runner-up, on countback)
