UAE to host FEI General Assembly in November

ABU DHABI, 19th July, 2024 (WAM) — The UAE will host the 2024 International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI) General Assembly meeting from 10th to 13th November in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of the heads of federations from 137 countries.

This follows the FEI’s announcement today that the UAE’s bid to host the 2024 General Assembly was unanimously approved.

Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, emphasised that the support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, enhances the UAE’s leadership in organising and hosting international events and tournaments to the highest standards, solidifying its global standing.

He said, “We are proud of the International Federation’s confidence in our ability to host the next meeting and its commitment to cooperating with the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation in supporting various programs and events.”

Al Raisi added that the Federation’s Board of Directors will ensure all necessary arrangements and equipment are provided through the organisational committees to guarantee the meeting’s success in line with best practices.
